Our menus differ between our two restaurants.

the Eatery, Koszykowa offers modern Polish cuisine in a classic structure, with starters, main courses, and desserts.

the Eatery Trad., Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie focuses on traditional regional cuisine, with dishes available in both small and large portions — allowing for sharing, tasting multiple plates, or composing a classic meal: a small starter followed by a larger main course.

We do not use processed products.

At The Eatery, we prepare everything in-house — not only our dishes, but also our bread, mustard, mayonnaise, creams, and many other accompaniments.

We specialise in flour-based dishes, elevating traditional milk bar classics to a refined restaurant level.

A few words about some of our signature dishes:

Pyzy — traditional Polish potato dumplings

Pyzy [available at Trad.] — traditional Polish dumplings made from a combination of cooked and raw, finely grated potatoes. A classic Warsaw speciality known as “pyzy from Różyc Market”, once the main commercial hub of Praga, founded in 1901 — just 10 minutes from our first location.

Panko-crusted potato — signature starter

Panko-crusted potato [available at both locations] — a true the Eatery, Koszykowa classic and our signature starter, present on the menu since the very beginning. Inspired by Poznań cuisine (“pyry z gzikiem”), it features mashed potatoes in a crispy breadcrumb coating, served with cottage cheese, mustard, and radish. A must-have on your first visit.

Pierogi ruskie (dumplings) [available at Trad.] — also known as Galician pierogi, named after Red Ruthenia. Popular in Poland and Ukraine, yet surprisingly little known in Russia. Best enjoyed at home — but our version, with a touch of mint, will certainly bring you back.

Beef tartare

Beef tartare [available at both locations] — always served in its classic form at The Eatery Trad., while at Koszykowa it occasionally appears in new interpretations. Carefully selected beef from Dobre Mięso guarantees consistent, high quality.

We really like engaging events when we change for a while the appearance of our interior in accordance with the needs of the event. We are able to host up to 50 people in a sit-down form and over 70 people during a cocktail. We prepare each proposal individually and we are happy to cooperate with agencies.

if you look for place  for organizing group  meeting or renting  t h e E A T E R Y exclusively, please feel free to contact us on hello@eatery.pl.

Our restaurant is primarily a space designed for adult guests.
For this reason, we do not offer special facilities or dedicated amenities for young children

If this is not an issue and you would like to visit us with small children, you are very welcome — we kindly ask you to remain mindful of the comfort of our other guests.

At first, many decisions were simply practical.
Over time, as The Eatery became more established, more and more of them turned into conscious choices — including those related to responsibility and our impact on the world around us.

Actions we take to reduce our environmental footprint:

  • Minimising food waste (moving towards a zero-waste kitchen)
  • Using the whole ingredient whenever possible throughout the cooking process
  • Reducing plastic and choosing responsible packaging
  • Monitoring our energy and water consumption
  • Seasonal menu / the easiest and most enjoyable part of the whole process /
  • Expanding our network of local suppliers and producers

Want to know more about how we do it → read on

We highly recommend them all:

Vegetables and fruit: Jolanta Głodek – a stall at Warsaw Szembeka Market. The seasonal items on our menu are largely based on products from this supplier. We receive fresh deliveries of vegetables and fruit almost every day.

Meat: Dobre Mięso – always a 100% guarantee of freshness. Most of the meat we select is of Polish origin.

Craft Beer: Browar Stu Mostów. We have a close relationship with this Wrocław-based polish craft brewery, which has won numerous international awards and distinctions. Some bottled selections are shipped directly to us from Wrocław and are not available through Warsaw distributors. Our menu always features a limited-edition beer that you are unlikely to find anywhere else in the capital.

Coffee and tea: we owe the flavor of our coffee and our tea selection to the Warsaw-based company Number Coffee, with whom we have collaborated for 12 years across other projects. The coffee served here is Blend One.

Kombucha: MikroZuza is a small craft producer located near Warsaw, where Zuza creates artisanal fermented beverages such as kombucha, jun, and tibicos in small batches without pasteurization, preserving the nutritional and probiotic qualities of each product. It is a great alternative to alcohol.

Wine: Most of our wines are excellent natural wines, including orange wines among them.

Our wine list is largely co-created with our new industry friend Natural Rascal, whose Rascal Bar we recommend to anyone who appreciates natural wines.

Centrum Wina supplies us with classic wines as well as Baczewski Vodka – we are an ambassador restaurant for this spirit, which allows us to offer it at a particularly attractive price.

Polish Liqueurs:: Nieprzelewki is a Polish producer of artisanal craft liqueurs — natural fruit spirits made in small, limited batches using real ingredients, without artificial flavorings or colorings. The brand focuses on traditional maceration methods, clean composition, and authentic taste.
