ul. Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 31/33, Warszawa
A restaurant is more than just food.
It is also space, sound, light, rhythm, and the way everything comes together.
These elements shape how Guests experience a place — even if they cannot name it.
From the very beginning, coherence in flavour, service, and overall experience has been essential to us.
That is why, alongside Polish cuisine at The Eatery and Trad., Polish craftsmanship, music, and film have always been part of the background.

It is 4:42 PM
There is 1 hr 18 min left until the evening service. We may still have a table for you.

WINE / BEER / SPIRITS
It is never an afterthought for us.
We carefully choose every bottle we serve.
We regularly expand our selection of Polish labels.
We offer the widest selection of Browar Stu Mostów craft beer in the capital,
although wine remains the most frequently ordered alcohol at the Eatery. The vast majority of our list is made up of natural and biodynamic wines — in this area we work closely with Natural Rascal.
At the Eatery trad. we also offer an original selection of Polish cocktails as an alternative to the classics, which are available as well.
The alcohol lists differ between the two locations.

FREEthe Eatery – Koszykowa
A modern interpretation of Polish cuisine served in a classic menu structure: starters, main courses, and desserts. A perfect choice for guests who enjoy contemporary flavours and refined, well-balanced dishes.
the Eatery Trad. – Powiśle
Traditional regional Polish cuisine in a flexible small & large plates format. Most dishes are available in two sizes, allowing guests to create their own tasting and sharing experience — order several tapas to explore different flavours, share dishes at the table, or enjoy a classic meal by choosing a smaller plate as a starter and a larger one as a main course.
Which one should you choose?
If you are looking for modern Polish cuisine in an elegant, urban setting in the heart of Warsaw, choose the Eatery, Koszykowa, located near Constitution Square, surrounded by culture, business, and vibrant city life.
If you prefer a relaxed atmosphere close to the Vistula River and the Powiśle district, and enjoy traditional flavours in a flexible sharing and tasting format, choose the Eatery Trad.
Our menus differ between our two restaurants.
the Eatery, Koszykowa offers modern Polish cuisine in a classic structure, with starters, main courses, and desserts.
the Eatery Trad., Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie focuses on traditional regional cuisine, with dishes available in both small and large portions — allowing for sharing, tasting multiple plates, or composing a classic meal: a small starter followed by a larger main course.
We do not use processed products.
At The Eatery, we prepare everything in-house — not only our dishes, but also our bread, mustard, mayonnaise, creams, and many other accompaniments.
We specialise in flour-based dishes, elevating traditional milk bar classics to a refined restaurant level.
A few words about some of our signature dishes:

Pyzy [available at Trad.] — traditional Polish dumplings made from a combination of cooked and raw, finely grated potatoes. A classic Warsaw speciality known as “pyzy from Różyc Market”, once the main commercial hub of Praga, founded in 1901 — just 10 minutes from our first location.

Panko-crusted potato [available at both locations] — a true the Eatery, Koszykowa classic and our signature starter, present on the menu since the very beginning. Inspired by Poznań cuisine (“pyry z gzikiem”), it features mashed potatoes in a crispy breadcrumb coating, served with cottage cheese, mustard, and radish. A must-have on your first visit.
Pierogi ruskie (dumplings) [available at Trad.] — also known as Galician pierogi, named after Red Ruthenia. Popular in Poland and Ukraine, yet surprisingly little known in Russia. Best enjoyed at home — but our version, with a touch of mint, will certainly bring you back.

Beef tartare [available at both locations] — always served in its classic form at The Eatery Trad., while at Koszykowa it occasionally appears in new interpretations. Carefully selected beef from Dobre Mięso guarantees consistent, high quality.
We care deeply about what we serve. We carefully select every bottle we offer and continuously expand our list of Polish producers. We feature the widest selection of craft beer from Browar Stu Mostów in Warsaw, although wine remains the most frequently ordered beverage at The Eatery.
Three quarters of our wine list is made up of natural and biodynamic wines. In this area, we work closely with Natural Rascal. Our selection is further enriched by outstanding wines from Polish producers such as Turnau, Białe Skały, Marcinowice, and Barczeniewicz.
At The Eatery Trad., we also offer our own signature selection of Polish cocktails as an alternative to the classic drinks available.
Our restaurant is primarily a space designed for adult guests.
For this reason, we do not offer special facilities or dedicated amenities for young children
If this is not an issue and you would like to visit us with small children, you are very welcome — we kindly ask you to remain mindful of the comfort of our other guests.
At the Eatery restaurants, we specialise in hosting groups of various sizes and in creating thoughtfully curated event experiences. We regularly work with businesses, corporations, and brands, and host press events and media gatherings.
Each event is prepared individually. We enjoy it when something is happening — when the interior temporarily changes its character and we get to perform in a different setting.

At first, many decisions were simply practical.
Over time, as The Eatery became more established, more and more of them turned into conscious choices — including those related to responsibility and our impact on the world around us.
Actions we take to reduce our environmental footprint:
Want to know more about how we do it → read on
We work primarily with Polish producers and, whenever possible, with local suppliers who share our commitment to quality, responsibility, and transparent sourcing. We value long-term relationships built on trust and consistent standards. By supporting small and independent businesses, we contribute to reducing the environmental footprint of our supply chain while strengthening local communities.
We highly recommend all of our trusted suppliers:
Vegetables & Fruit — Jolanta Głodek from Szembeka Market.
Our seasonal menu is largely based on products from this supplier.
Fresh deliveries arrive almost daily.
Meat — Dobre Mięso guarantees 100% freshness.
Most of the meat we select comes from Polish producers.
Craft Beer — Browar Stu Mostów.
An award-winning brewery from Wrocław.
Some bottles are delivered directly to us and are not available through Warsaw distributors.
Our menu always includes limited editions you are unlikely to find elsewhere in the city.
Coffee & Tea — Number Coffee.
We have been working together for over 12 years across various projects.
Our house coffee is Blend One.
Kombucha Mikrozuza — a live, naturally fermented beverage crafted in a small local micro-studio.
We collect each batch directly from the producer, ensuring freshness, quality, and full respect for the natural fermentation process.
Direct sourcing allows us to reduce unnecessary transport, support small-scale production, and build long-term, responsible partnerships.
Wine — Natural & Polish selections.
Our wine list features carefully selected natural wines curated by Natural Rascal, focused on small, independent and biodynamic producers.
We also showcase outstanding Polish wines from Marcinowice, Białe Skały, Barczentewicz reflecting the growing quality and diversity of local winemaking.
