the Eatery has been operating since April 2021 – initially as a tiny bistro in Gocław at Ostrobramska Street, now a restaurant in the very center of Warsaw at ul. Koszykowa, next to Plac Konstytucji.

 

 

We offer 3 rooms – the main room, bar room and and small room on level -1, which is perfect for little private events and meetings ( up to 12 person).

 

 

We are not indifferent to alcohol. We carefully select the bottles we offer. We have the widest selection of craft beer Browar Stu Mostów in the capital, although the main alcohol ordered at the Eatery are wines.

Most of our wines were selected by master sommelier Piotr Pietras from Terroiryści. From June 2023, we expanded our offer with wines from new friend – Natural Rascal

We do not use processed products.

 

At the Eatery we prepare by ourselves all bases as bread, mustard, bbq sauce, mayonnaise, sour cream, riccota and many other additives.

We specialize in flour dishes, moving them from the milk bar to the restaurant level.

A few words about some of our dishes:

 

 

 

onion flatbread -bread with onions, poppy seeds and salt. The best taste with butter. If you come from the Lublin region, you know it and love it.

 

 

The baking tradition dates back to the 19th century. The Jews from Lublin’s Old Town were the first to bake onion flatbread and then the recipe slowely spread throughout the region

 

 

pyzy – it is one of meny kinds of polish dumplings.  Polish ball-shaped noodles made of cooked and raw, finely grated potatoes. A traditional dish of Warsaw cuisine is the famous  dumplings from Różycki Bazaar – the main shopping center of Praga. 

 

At the Eatery we change the stuffing of pyzy, offering them in meat or veggie options depands on season.

 

 

 

 

 

ribs – a classic of Polish cuisine. The secret to a successful dish is proper preparation. We macerate our ribs for 12 hours and then cook for another 8 hours – finally, bake in dark beer and honey glaze.

 

  

 

’pierogi’ – also known as Galician dumplings, the name comes from

Red Ruthenia. Interestingly, popular in Poland and Ukraine – not very well known in Russia. The best in a family home, but you will come back to the EATERY after trying ours.

 


 

 

 

panko potatoe – a classic of the Eatery – an appetizer that has been with us from the beginning in an unchanged form. Inspired by the Poznań cuisine, mashed potato in a crispy bread coating with spiced gzik with mustard and radish is a 'must have’ on your first visit to the Eatery

 

 

tartare – is always with us, although it changes form and presentstion – with  flavored chilli mayonnaise or salt yolk.

What remains unchanged is the carefully selected meat and fluffiness of the dish,

 

 
 

PARTIES & EVENTS

 

We really like engaging events when we change for a while the appearance of our interior in accordance with the needs of the event. We are able to host up to 50 people in a sit-down form and over 70 people during a cocktail. We prepare each proposal individually and we are happy to cooperate with agencies.

A dinner at t h e E A T E R Y can be a convenient and elegant gift for your loved ones or employees. The voucher can have a specific value or indicate a quantity limit without mentioning the amount. A short personalized message for the recipient can also be included on the voucher.

The voucher can be sent online or picked up from us in a physical form. We can issue online vouchers even on the same day, while physical vouchers can be prepared within 24 hours. Payments can be made via bank transfer, online card payments through the secure First Data system, or in cash on-site.
